Winton-Scott Hall, home to the departments of biology, psychology and math, is the only academic building to be named for faculty who contributed to the departments housed within its walls. Professor Will McClain Winton served as chair of the biology/geology department and began the pre-medical program at TCU. Gayle Scott was one of Winton's students before becoming a geology specialist.
