Requirements for Liability Coverage for Use of TCU Facilities
All applicants will be expected to provide a certificate of insurance reflecting the following:
- TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY must be listed as ADDITIONAL INSURED.
- TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY must be listed as CERTIFICATE HOLDER (2800 S. University Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76129).
- Limits should not provide less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and in the aggregate.
- Generally, certificates of insurance must include COMMERCIAL GENERAL LIABILITY and AUTOMOBILE LIABITY coverages, both of which must include a WAIVER OF SUBROGATION.
- Proof of WORKERS COMPENSATION coverage including a WAIVER OF SUBROGATION. This option may be waived.
- If minors will attend without their parents/guardians, then the certificate must include SEXUAL ABUSE AND MOLESTATION COVERAGE with limits not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and in the aggregate.
- Certificate of insurance needs to be approved by the State of Texas in accordance with the Texas Senate Bill 425 (most often an ACORD form).
